Change in Ownership of Sariaf Gowan YUMA, ARIZONA (July 18, 2008). In a further strengthening of the resources available to Sariaf Gowan to support continued growth, Margarita Internacional Comércio e Serviços (Margarita), a company based in Madeira, has acquired 70% of the shares held by Sipcam so that the shareholder structure is now GCIS 50%, Margarita 35% and Sipcam 15%.

(March 18, 2008) – Gowan Company announces the addition of Special Local Need labels approved in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas for the use of Permit Herbicide for pre-plant or at-planting burndown in rice for the control of annual broadleaf weeds and nutsedge. Applications of Permit herbicide may be applied for burndown of emerged weeds before planting, or at planting of rice.
